This song opens up with the sounding of a Tibetan bowl and closes with a Sufi healing prayer by Abderrahim Amrani dedicated to the souls of the ancestors, and to healing all people around the world.
As the first stone to this project, the ancient East Indian Chant known as the Hanuman Chalissa was recorded by a great Yoga teacher and Kirtan leader, Govindas. Unequivocally in my mind, a choir from the Moroccan desert had to complete the musical idea.
Lo and behold, the powerful voices of the "Ahwache tribes" of the southwest Moroccan desert manifested a few months later. Over a dozen musicians from the desert gathered and a big ceremony was held, with children running all around and the choice was set on Lalla Yima, “The mother.”
